Marketing Education!
Through its involvement with the Illinois
Foundation for Marketing Education
(IFME), Bison Mountain Financial
supports business education for our
youth. The IFME awards scholarships to
students who exhibit academic
excellence and a desire to study
business, marketing or
entrepreneurship. The IFME also
provides judges at local marketing
competitions, provides money for
students to compete in national
marketing competitions through DECA,
and produces sports marketing seminars
in conjunction with the Chicago Bulls and
Chicago White Sox.
Robert Uribe has served on the board of
directors of the IFME since 1999 and
currently serves as its president. His
work includes development of the Sports
Marketing Career Day seminar with the
Chicago Bulls, creation of the IFME Golf
Outing, and numerous fundraisers for
marketing education students.

Bison Mountain Financial takes marketing education
several steps further with its marketing internship program.
Beginning in June 2010, several high school and college
students were selected to join the BMF team. They have
contributed to our success with market research,
advertising copy, expansion of marketing into new media,
and the wholesale development of a new client retention
program. The participants learn new skills in a creative
environment and get the chance to see their ideas put into
practice.
